Dealer Concerns:
REMINDER ON RECEIVING DAMAGED PARTS and SHORTS
Ø If you are unattended
and you receive damaged parts with nothing noted
on the delivery receipt you must call the PDC for a log number.
704-587-4727 or 866-875-8851.
Ø Call the PDC on shorts
for a log number if you are unattended and the
driver did not note it on the delivery receipt use the same phone
numbers
listed above.
Ø If you receive a part
via FEDX / UPS and the part is damaged you must
receive this part and note with the driver that the part was delivered
damaged. If you don't the
carrier will attempt to return it to the PDC.
The PDC will refuse this part.
This will not be a PC31 claim; it will be a
transportation claim.
Ø Note: All Trans claim
over $200, must be returned to PDC with
disposition of Damaged Material form, Faxed approval from
Schneider, and
PC-302.
Ø Please do not return
heavy weight items in cages (ex-Leaf springs).
Items will not be accepted and returned to you.

Email Address and Request Form for Specific
Transportation Issues
DESCRIPTION:
Effective immediately, General Motors Service & Parts
Operations (GMSPO)
and Schneider Logistics (SLI) are implementing a new process that
will
improve communication and flow of information concerning specific
transportation issues.
This process will include a “Group Email Address”
that will be utilized to address/resolve the specific issues
listed below:
1) Load Condition
2) Packaging
3) Transit (i.e., lead time issues)
4) Missing
Paperwork (i.e., packing slip)
5) Carrier (Driver)
Behavior
6) Shipper Behavior
7) Customer receives
Collect Billing
When you experience a problem in one of the above issue
categories,
complete the attached SLI/GM Customer Support Request Form with
the
required information listed below and email to the Group Email
Address at
gmcustomersupport@schneider.com.

Identification Number and the resolution or status of the
corrective action
resolution. This new
process does not supercede existing GMSPO processes
(e.g., if you choose not to use the Group Email Address, you may
still use
your current methods to resolve the above referenced issues).
